Critically acclaimed quartet Deerhunter is set to release Halcyon Digest, the band’s most stunning album to date on September 28, 2010 on 4ad Records. Deerhunter’s last album Microcastle was cheered on by fans and critics alike and landed them on the cover of the Fader, the lead review in Spin and was noted on multitudes of critic’s lists as one of the best albums of 2008. The album sold well over 50,000 copies in the states on the two-person run independent label Kranky Records.

Halcyon Digest is a gorgeous step forward and chock-full of perfect melodies and aural delights. It was produced by Ben Allen and Deerhunter in June 2010 at Chase Park Transduction. The first single from the album is “Helicopter.”
