VOTE for #GoodNightAlive to win #mabf!

© 2013 | Haley Sheffield | www.haleysheffield.comWe couldn’t be more proud of Macon, GA band Good Night Alive. After randomly stumbling into VH1’s “Make a Band Famous” contest, where thousands of no-name acts submitted entries to land a record deal with Republic Records, the group– with the help of their hometown– made it into a cut of just 60 acts! To keep it simple, here’s what’s next for them: there will be another cut to the “Final 24” on June 5th where the the 2 dozen remaining groups make their way to New York to participate in a 24-Hour Live Stream Event on June 11th at 8 EST. Once they make the “Final 24” and make their way to NY for the June 11th event, they will need us even more at that point. So, before we get too ahead of ourselves, let’s make sure they make the Final 24 NY Trip by tweeting #MABF and #GoodNightAlive in all your tweets to get Good Night Alive in the VH1 finals on June 11th!

For more about Good Night Alive, here’s the band’s BIO:

Good Night Alive! consists of five guys currently taking up residence in Middle Georgia. A frontman with his brother on drums hailing from the coast of Mississippi, a guitarist rising from the sand dunes of lakeshore Indiana, and the bass and keys straight from the Peach State have come together from distinct and different musical backgrounds to create a unique sound. From the punk/metal garage bands of youth to the Sunday morning stage, the guys of Good Night Alive are looking forward to a future of sharing their jams with any and everyone. The frequent flow of bands such as Grouplove and The Naked and Famous from their speakers influences their sound; By creating music that delivers a blend of organic and electronic sounds, Good Night Alive will both engage and startle your senses. The band is currently in and out of the studio in Nashville working on an upcoming Album. You can be sure that the melodies brought to you by these guys will strike a chord (literally and figuratively) that simultaneously evokes a need for inner reflection and ignite your desire to dance. When these upbeat tunes invade your mind and start playing relentlessly on repeat, don’t fight the feeling. Just dance.
