The High Divers are yet another exciting band emerging from the Holy City’s widely-popular music and arts community, one that includes break-out acts like SUSTO, Brave Baby, and Heyrocco.

Now, with the upcoming release of their debut full-length, Riverlust, on Hearts & Plugs (10/9), the band adds yet another reason to the growing list of why Charleston, SC will likely be the next major creative haven of the Southeast.

The band will be touring the States east of the Mississippi River throughout October and November with Caitlin Harnett, an Australian folk singer who’s immersed herself in the Charleston scene. Dates can be viewed below.

We’re excited (and honored) to be debuting the song “Give It Up” from Riverlust. The rousing, fine-grit rock number grooves along in a way that reminds me of contemporaries J Roddy Walston & the Business but the chorus (“Why do you give it up so easy / You can have it anyway you want it”) will have fans of The Band or Neil Young humming along.
