SXSW is a joyous, sweaty reunion for most parties involved and 2015 should be no exception, especially for bands and fans hailing from the Peach State or for those interested in catching sets from some of the best and brightest bands connected to the Athens, GA music scene.

On Saturday, March 21st, Georgia Theatre, along with the support of more than a dozen partners, will be presenting the 2015 “Athens in Austin” day party at Side Bar. The event features fourteen bands, most of them hailing from Athens or Atlanta, on two stages and one bar that we suspect will be very busy, so get there early. Music starts at noon on the Inside Stage and continues until around 7pm.
