Raise a stein and break out your lederhosens! October 23rd-25th, Macon Octoberfest returns to Tattnall Square Park for three days of beer, brats, live music, and family-friendly activities. The festival prides itself on offering “Bavarian traditions served up Georgia style!”, with more than a dozen Georgia-based breweries, various local vendors, and two stages with a variety of music — including daily sets from the Atlanta German Polka Band!

Things get a little bit country on the kick-off day of the festival, as Craig Campbell headlines the Main Stage with support from Jeff Allen. On Saturday, music starts in the early afternoon and leads into a headlining set from Reptar, who released their amazing second album, Lurid Glow, earlier this year. The festival closes out with a day of laid-back performances featuring The Sweeplings, SUSTO, and others.

Proceeds from the event benefit the LH Harris Ecology Center, All About Animals Rescue, and the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter.

Tickets range from $10-$15 for single day admission to $30 for a weekend pass. VIP packages are available as well. Through a partnership with Mercer University’s Homecoming Weekend, current Mercer Students and any alumni can attend the festival for free.
