Sharon Van Etten has been on a roll this year – her new album Tramp was released to critical acclaim, she’s had several late night TV appearances, and she’s been in the middle of a massive tour with several sold out dates.

This Wednesday she hits Middle Georgia with a show at Atlanta’s The Earl. Opening for her is Flock of Dimes (with lovely lead lady Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak).

If you attend the show you’ll not only get to see Sharon hugging & strumming an autoharp (as she so elegantly does in this video from a set in Paris), but you’ll have a fascinating visual treat. Throughout the tour her band is projecting a crowd-sourced video behind them during their set – calling it a “visual quilt project.” In fact, if you hurry, you can submit your own 10-second video clip and they just might incorporate it into Wednesday night’s show.
