Upcoming Show: LOST IN THE TREES, Jan 20th

Lost in the Trees is an eclectic ensemble of classically trained musicians who have discovered a new genre called orchestral pop. Through their music and composition, Lost in the Trees paints a new sound-world, fusing pop and classical music.

The brainchild of composer Ari Picker, Lost in the Trees is committed to bringing classical music out of the concert hall and into the listening space of all people, inspiring them to be captivated, and to fall in love with classical music. There’s freshness and excitement to the music he writes, and that comes through in his arrangements of cellos, violins, tubas, French horns, guitar, accordion and more.

The group’s latest album All Alone In An Empty House is showing up on all sorts of “Best of 2010” lists – including NPR Music’s and The Blue Indian’s own Chris Breslin’s.
