Up until a few months ago I was completely unaware that any music was still being made in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The city has a rich musical heritage and has been residency to some of rock & roll’s greatest musicians for decades past. The fact that one of the most talented and possibly strangest duos in the current American music scene called Muscle Shoals home stood out to me just as much as their quirky outfits and attitudes. BoomBox will be stopping in Macon on Friday, October 14th for a show at The Cox Capitol Theatre. Our good friends DSEL Promotions are handling the show, so you can expect a full on dance party.They’ll be joined by Atlanta-based producer Bitch Please and Variant, an Athens-based producer that has quickly made a name for himself around Georgia. Regretfully, TheBlueIndian.com will not be attending as we’ll be in Florida covering Deluna Festival, but I personally would recommend that you check all these artists out and make your way to down the Theatre for the show.
