The team at TheBlueIndian.com is pleased to announce that we’ll be presenting Savannah-based surf/garage act TRIATHALON‘s upcoming Winter tour. The tour kicks off December 4th at a free show at The Hummingbird Stage & Taproom in Macon and heads up the East Coast to Connecticut before winding back and ending in Charleston, South Carolina on December 22nd.

We caught wind of these guys in early 2011 and have since featured them in a number of ways. If you’ve listened to TheBlueIndian.com’s 3rd compilation, you’ll be quite familiar with the opening track, “Teenagers”, from TRIATHALON’s Relationchips EP.

Since then, the guys in TRIATHALON have gone on to support Rubblebucket, Dan Deacon, Beach Day, JuBee & the Morning After, Heyrocco, FUTUREBIRDS, New Madrid, Dent May, Young Buffalo, and more. The band was featured at Savannah Stopover 2012 & 2013 and have already confirmed to play Savannah Stopover 2014. They’ve also released a near-constant stream of material that can be found at their Bandcamp.

Dates on the tour include a string of shows with Athens, GA-based psych act New Madrid and Philadelphia, PA-based garage act DRGN KING. All tour dates can be seen below!
