A Picture of Emily Ishihara

Emily Ishihara is a senior at Mercer University in Macon, GA studying Sociology and Photography. As a born and raised New Englander she spent years singing for her school and church. While she grew up in Andover Massachusetts she now replaces “you guys” with “y’all” but still can’t get used to just how sweet, sweet tea is. While living in the south she has enjoyed learning about the unique cultural and musical differences between the two places she calls home. The music scene in Macon has always captured her attention.

On Sundays you can find Emily watching the Patriots game, yelling at the TV as if they can hear her. Any other day of the week you can find her scrolling through Pinterest or watching Friends on Netflix.
