Hart Roberts - Contributor
Hart is a Raleigh, North Carolinian who grew up digging the local music scene: Ben Folds, The Connells, Ryan Adams, among others. His first high school job was slinging merchandise at shows for Jupiter Coyote, at least that’s what he told his parents. In undergrad at Appalachian State University, he and his roommates started Boone’s first large-scale music festival, Music on the Mountaintop featuring Sam Bush, Railroad Earth, Dr. Dog, Futurebirds and many more.
After college, he ventured out west to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, fell in love, and never left. He spent six years getting his master’s in powder stashes, fly fishing, and way too many concerts. Now he resides in Atlanta, makes fun of people who say “ITP”, would brush his teeth with honey mustard if it were socially acceptable, has a cat named Kitty, and still happily prefers Bojangles’ over Zaxby’s. Suck it, Zax Sauce.
