Videos & Photos: BUTTERFLIES @ The 567

BUTTERFLIES opened for their label mates from Chapel Hill, North Carolina LOST IN THE TREES on Thursday, January 21st at Macon’s The 567. The band is touring in support of their sophomore release Residual Child, an album that focuses on finding joy in simplicity. The theme of the album is made beautifully evident in lead vocalist Josh Kimbrough’s intimate lyrics.

Their set included old songs, new songs, unreleased songs, and even a cover. On several songs they were joined on stage by Emma Nadeau and Mark Daumen of LOST IN THE TREES who added their multi-instrumental talents to the set.

Check out our videos of the band playing two songs you won’t find on their records. Then head over to their label’s site to stream their entire studio album after which you’ll be ready to purchase their amazing LP+CD+MP3 package for a mere $12.
