One of the most exciting and highly anticipated releases out of Nashville this year has come in the form a of a ferocious and stunning debut album from BULLY entitled Feels Like. Released through Columbia/Star Time on June 23rd, Feels Like is powerful record, both sonically and lyrically, and delivers a raw energy unlike anything I’ve heard from the Music City, let alone anywhere recently.

Comprised of Alicia Bognanno, a former intern at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio (she helped engineer and produce the album), and friends Stewart Copeland, Clay Parker, and Reece Lazarus, the band has made huge strides since their 2014 EP, quickly securing touring slots with Best Coast and others.

The tracks “I Remember“, “Trying“, and “Milkman” immediately stand out, but there really isn’t a dull moment on this record, one that’s already made numerous “Best of 2015 So Far..” lists.

Later this month BULLY will be embarking on their first headline tour, one that includes dates on both coasts and in Canada.

The band will be returning to Atlanta for an all-ages show at The Drunken Unicorn on Monday, July 27th. Tickets are available for $10.00 and will move quickly.
