The second of two videos I recently uncovered, Joel Hamilton’s organ rendition of “Someone Else” from The Working Title’s 2009 release Bone Island is eerily simpler take on the track. Joel was on tour at the time with All Get Out and would winding down the official side of things for The Working Title following the tour, so we’re very lucky to have the recording. The night of recording these songs, both bands would play a packed show at The 567 in Macon, with Joel donning a giant ketchup outfit for the entirety of the set. You can see that above..

Since then, Joel has toured solo with Shovels & Rope, The Winter Sounds, and a handful of other acts from the Southeast and released an album under a new moniker, Mechanical River, earlier this year. You can check out the video for the single “By Fathers”, here.
