Perhaps you’ve been paying attention to the artists based in Macon that we’ve been pushing over the past two years. If so, you surely have caught wind of JuBee & The Morning After by now. The indie-hip-hop act had their taste of the national spotlight following a strong win in a contest sponsored by Samsung & ABC that landed them opening for Pitbull at sold out show in Seattle and eventually had the video for the performance aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Following their return to Macon, they recorded and released a debut EP to a crowd of nearly 300 people at the Cox Capitol Theatre and have since shared the stage with dozens of nationally touring acts.

Over the past few months they’ve been working on their follow up release that is expected sometime this Summer but JuBee (Dwayne Webb) felt that the timing and release of this video and song was appropriate and a great way to give their fans something in between the releases. The track is a reworking on UK-act The Magic Numbers‘ track “All I See” and features Webb at various locations around his hometown. Filmed by Savannah’s Bob Jones ( a recent Connect Savannah award winning photographer & the man responsible for THIS ), the track is a deeply emotional reflection of triumph over struggle. Watch out for JATMA’s upcoming release and head over to Bob’s site for more amazing work. Enjoy..
