Summer Camp Releases Young EP!

summer campMoshi Moshi Records proudly announce the September 6th release of Summer Camp’s Young  EP. The EP marks the UK duo’s North American debut, and the latest release for the storied UK indie label on this side of the Atlantic.  It also serves as a precursor to their forthcoming full-length debut, due out in Spring 2010.

Summer Camp started almost accidentally as a clandestine musical project by the London based duo Elizabeth Sankey and Jeremy Warmsley. Yet the strength of their hazy nostalgic take on John Hughes teen-dream inspired pop was not an easily confined secret, even if their identities and country of origin originally were. This fall and winter sees the duo touring Europe and putting finishing touches on their full-length debut, due out some time in Spring 2011.  Next year they plan to tour North America in support of its release.
