AURA Music & Arts Festival – Live Oak, Florida – February 15th-17th

FINAL AURA 2013 Flier

If you’ve ever been to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, you understand why the facility has become one of the most desirable music festival grounds in the country; woodsy camping areas, excellent staff and facilities, and two of the coolest amphitheaters in the country. Until the past few years, the grounds have been the quiet home to Wanee, SpringFest, MagFest, and a few other jam-band friendly events. However, the recent lineups at Wanee, Blackwater, Bear Creek, and now for its third year – AURA – have propelled the grounds into national press, drawing concert goers from around the world.

AURA returns February 15th – 17th with a head-spinning lineup featuring double sets from Papadosio, Conspirator, Perpetual Groove, Dopapod, and a few others, along with your usual performances from Live Oak staple The Lee Boys, and a number of acts we’re excited about seeing. AURA got the most bang for their buck (and is making sure you do too) by featuring side project sets from a number of headlining acts. Brock Butler (Perpetual Groove) and Dr Fameus (Conspirator, Disco Biscuits) are two particular that we’ve seen before and always go above and beyond for their audiences.

Like many of the fests that take place at Suwannee, AURA offers all the extra amenities that make the Live Oak experience so memorable – yoga sessions, organic food vendors, Shakedown Street, and the kind-hearted hippie folk that you’ll grow to love.

Tickets for the weekend long event are still on sale at $129.00 per person, or if you only can make a day or two, they’re offering single day passes at the event gates.

If you haven’t made it to the park, this is the perfect opportunity. Especially given it’s Lover’s Weekend. There’s going to be no shortage of love here.
