Music Midtown 2013: September 20th-21st: Atlanta, Georgia

Following an incredibly successful 2012 festival, Atlanta’s Music Midtown is back and hotter than ever!
Co-headlining sets from Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters helpedĀ re-solidify Music Midtown as one of the premier outdoor events in the country, though I did meet quite a large number of people who had flown in from as far as South Africa and Hong Kong to see Mr. Vedder and company. Also in attendance was a group of nearly a dozen people who had flown from the UK “just to see Florence” of Florence and the Machine. The “sold-out” announcement from Pearl Jam as the closed last year’s festival was a sign of things to come, and with the recent lineup announcement, it’s clear that Music Midtown is back with no signs of slowing down.

Scheduled for September 20th – 21st, Red Hot Chili Peppers returns to Atlanta to co-headline MM 2013 in Piedmont Park, their first show within Atlanta-proper in years. Rock legends Journey cap off the other side of the co-billing and support comes from Queens of the Stone Age, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, Imagine Dragons, Phoenix, Jane’s Addiction and more. You can view the complete lineup below!

Tickets start at $50.00-$75.00 for single day passes, $110.00 for the full weekend, and move upwards to $500.00+ for the multiple levels of VIP offerings.
