Athens, Georgia’s most impressive upcoming band REPTAR will be playing this year’s Lollapalooza Festival at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois. The band has caught the attention of artists, producers, publications, and fans all around the country despite having only toured the East Coast.

Most recently they played a SOLD OUT show at The 40 Watt in Athens, Georgia opening for Washed Out. Though Ernest and his band played an amazing set, it was clear from the audience response that Reptar was king that night.

They’ve opened for Futurebirds, Art Brut, Washed Out and many more since their formation. Check out their website for show listings and tunes! I would watch out for these guys, I think they could very easily wind up on top of the indie music world in the next few months.
