Breakout electronic/pop act Sylvan Esso return to Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, August 15th for a SOLD OUT show at The Earl, the iconic East Atlanta venue. Atlanta’s show is currently one of ten sold out shows on their run that starts August 13th. Support for the show comes from Dana Buoy. Though tickets are no longer available for the show, it might be worth your time to stop by the venue the night of the show in case any have opened up.

The work of Amelia Meath (Mountain Man) and Nick Samborn (Megafaun), Sylvan Esso debuted earlier this year with the release of their self-titled full-length record via Partisan (Phosphorescent, Diamond Rugs, etc). The record has since received rave reviews from NPR, Stereogum and more, eventually leading them to their television debut on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in early July.

Following their tour with Dana Buoy, Meath & Samborn will appear at a few more US dates, including the Hideout Block Party in Chicago with Death Cab for Cutie, before heading to Europe. They will return for a string of US dates in late October that includes a set of support shows for Foster the People and My Morning Jacket’s “One Big Holiday” event.

Dana Buoy is the work of Dana Janssen of Akron/Family. Preacher, his debut record under the moniker, was released in late July of this year. Dana Buoy will support Sylvan Esso through August 31st.
