I had the privilege last tonight of seeing Laura Gibson perform with two members of Musee Mechanique at The Earl in Atlanta, GA (she was opening for Damien Jurado). I first heard Laura’s music on NPR’s All Songs Considered where she performed the first “Tiny Desk Concert.” Laura’s soft music had the entire venue spellbound and hushed. In fact, it was so quiet that I started to feel self-conscious about the noise my camera’s shutter made as I took these photos.
