The Legendary Leon Russell

The 2013 lineup is where the deal is sealed for me; Headliner LEON RUSSELL (yes, THE Leon Russell) is complimented by Deer Tick, Mike Cooley, Leftover Salmon, The Whiskey Gentry, and so many more. Expect all sorts of pickin’, grinnin’ drinkin’, and every other thing that makes American music so…American.

Twilight Americana Music Festival will take place throughout historic downtown Athens. Participating venues include; Georgia Theatre, 40 Watt Club, Melting Point, Little Kings Shuffle Club, Green Room, The World Famous and Hendershot’s Coffee. The festival will feature several headlining performances, beginning with Opening Night at Georgia Theatre, and also including the 40 Watt Club. Foundry Entertainment will present the Twilight Americana Closing Party at the Melting Point on Sunday April 28th. Other festival showcase performances will be held at Little Kings and The World Famous on Friday and Saturday nights. The recently opened Green Room will feature acts every night of the event. This year the festival will curate an outdoor stage in downtown Athens for the annual music component of the Terrapin Twilight Criterium event.

Tickets are on-sale for $50.00 for general admission OR $125.00 to be part of the big boy ballers club VIP experience (it’s worth it). Did we mention how excited we are for Lera Lynn’s new record?! Watch the video below..
