Sidewalks features 10 original tracks and was recorded in Atlanta, GA and New York City during the spring and summer of 2010. Its release follows the exclusive iTunes pre-sale, which began back on October 5th and saw the album soar immediately to Top 50 on the iTunes Top 200 chart and to Top 10 on iTunes Alternative chart. 2010 has already been a whirlwind year for Matt and Kim, who, after recording Sidewalks, went on to perform prime-time sets and headlining slots at major festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Siren, Virgin FreeFest, The Bamboozle and most recently, Austin City Limits. They will be kicking off an Australian tour at the start of the new year. I guess that doesn’t apply to you all… but just FYI.
