Big Boi of Outkast to Play Macon | Street Party & The Grand Finale

Big Boi

Street Party

If there is one event you can choose to come out to celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival this year, we suggest this be that event! Headlined by Savannah Georgia’s own, Big Boi of Outkast (MLK Stage) and good ol’ country star Jamey Johnson (Cherry Stage), this show is sure to tickle your fancy in more than one way. Presented by Budweiser and The Georgia Lottery on March 26, the Street Party is sure to be a good time had by all. Fun starts at 5 pm and runs to 11 pm, whether you come out for the music or come out to drink on the streets with all of Macon, make sure you come! This is sure to be the highlight of the festival and you don’t want to be that person who said they missed out. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 day of the show. You can get your tickets online at cherryblossom.com or by calling Mercer Ticket Sales at 478.301.5470

The Grand Finale

We hate to see you leave, but we love to see you walk away! The final hoorah for the festival will be held March 27 at Wesleyan College. There will be bluegrass entertainment all day by Old Mill Road Band, fireworks at dusk, and even activities for the little ones. So bring a picnic blanket, bring a Frisbee, or bring a friend, just make sure you come out and say goodbye to Macon’s favorite week of the year! Presented by Capital City Bank and Butler Automotive Group, the beginning of the end starts at 5 pm and admission is free all day, so you don’t have an excuse NOT to come.
