Lauren Stanaitis - Contributor

You'd never know it, but Lauren sounded like Elmer Fudd until the age of 6. She is currently having a love affair with music and it is not ending anytime soon. Lauren was raised by northerners, yet she is a full-fledged Florida girl. Her mother embedded the music of Led Zeppelin, The Police, and Stevie Wonder into her brain like it was nobody's business. Nowadays, Lauren still blasts the classics whenever she gets the chance. She lives for the live music experience and her lifeblood goes by the stage name of Bassnectar. Yet Lauren often finds herself in Atlanta once or twice a week to see local shows, usually at Terminal West. She loves moths and hates butterflies, and she will always be in search of the endless summer. Honey mustard is her weakness. Lauren is a KSU graduate, with a degree in Communications and a concentration in Public Relations. She currently works as a Corporate Host for Live Nation at The Tabernacle and Lakewood Amphitheater. Besides that job, Lauren is gigging it; from freelancing for CID Entertainment to working with the Atlanta-based funk group Lingo, she swears it is a wonderful life.
