A Picture of Rhett Shirley

Rhett Shirley, though better known as Squirrelly to some, busies himself as a DJ, bartender, and unparalleled sandwich maker. Though originally from Georgetown, Kentucky, he has found himself inexplicably drawn to the waters of the Ocmulgee River, and is now incapable of straying far from Macon. He is currently employed as the booking agent and resident DJ for Roasted Cafe and Lounge in downtown Macon. Due to an insufferable vinyl addiction, you can find him in his off time digging through records at Smiley's, or Old School Music on Second Street. Though he is considered a local authority on all things electronica or bass related, his musical tastes run from Louis Armstrong to Sound Tribe Sector 9 to the Allmans and everything in between. Rhett's journalistic focus resides with festivals, jam bands, and electronic acts of all sorts.
