Over the next few years, Foster and his bandmates developed a uniquely strong bond with the city and people of Macon. Shows came and passed and I honestly became surprised with the number of Parachute Musical shirts I would see on any given weekend, but the band ultimately came to the decision that they had done what they had originally set out to do and felt that it was time to go their own ways.
Clearly, the emotion and sentiments that Foster evoked resounded through the city, as he was recently invited back to Mercer University’s Bearstock 2012 to perform a set of songs from his upcoming solo record. Maybe you’ll recognize the rooftop setting from our Alley session with The Front Bottoms. We hope you enjoy!
