10 Reasons to Attend Hulaween 2013: October 31st – November 2nd

As we gear up to make our first ever trip to the annual Suwannee Hulaween festival, we thought we’d have Katie share the top ten things she’s most excited about for the weekend. Hulaween runs from October 31st to November 2nd and features a stacked lineup of the best and brightest in the jam and live-tronic circles. Tickets for the weekend start at $189.00 and go up from their for day-of-show and the Ultimate-VIP package. Treat yourself this Halloween by spending the weekend at the Spirit of Suwanee Music Park with a few thousand of your newest friends.

1. The Spirit of The Suwannee Music Park, Enough Said

Hulaween makes its debut at the beautiful Spirit of The Suwannee Music Park, a music lovers paradise where mystical moments and enchanted experiences flourish. After all, music lives here.

2. Three Night Incident

Hulaween is hosted by the one and only, String Cheese Incident, who will treat festival goers to three nights of hair-raising performances. Fans can expect seven sets, including a three-set show Halloween Night.

3. Voodoo Vibe

The official Hulaween theme is Voodoo. Here’s an excuse to go all out in Voodoo flavor, not that you need one.

4. There’s a Jelly Dome

The good people over at Kickin’ It are bringing the magic with their Jelly Dome installment. They’re even throwing a Nautical Aquatical theme night. “My brain is just a jellyfish in the ocean of my head.”

5. No Overlapping Sets

Don’t worry about having to choose between shows during Hulaween. This is an overlapping set free festival. Cheers to that!

6. Premiere of The Spirit Lake Promenade

Mesmerizing lights, art installations and performance art, oh my! The Spirit Lake Promenade, an epic visual arts project, makes its first appearance during Hulaween.

7. The Bat House

The largest known bat house in the United States rests in the Spirit of The Suwannee Farm Field, providing shelter for up to half a million bats. Spooky, eh?

8. Hammock Heaven

There are plenty of spots to tie up your hammock when you need a break from dancing and grooving. Get your lounge on.

9. Silent Disco

If you’ve yet to experience a silent disco, then now is the time.  You can catch Sir Charles, Manic Focus, Eliot Lipp, Up Until Now and more artists bringing the heat late night.

10.Where Else Would You Rather Spend Halloween?

Let’s be real, where else would you rather spend your Halloween weekend than at one of the best live music venues in the country? Come on down to Spirit of The Suwannee and set your spirit free. Hulaween is one for the books.
