SnowGlobe Music Festival: December 29th-31st: South Lake Tahoe, California
New Year’s Eve is the gig that all DJ’s dream about. It is the ultimate celebration of time and progress, and though we all can’t be Carl Cox and play the Millineum twice, we certainly can put on our silly glasses end the year on a bang. Though you may consider Sydney, Paris or New York as the best attractions for the big count-down, look no further than South Lake Tahoe in Western California to hold SnowGlobe, a three day exposition of forward-thinking music to ring in 2014 right.
The annual festival will boast an eclectic array of bands and DJ’s for the final three days of 2013. Notable acts include Snoop Dogg as Snoop Lion, Holy Ghost!, Tiesto, and Atlanta’s very own Treasure Fingers – plus an unannounced headlining act (we can’t wait to see who else they’ve booked) and dozen more of the top artists in EDM. Check out the video below for a full lineup, and check back November third for the final headliner announcement.
However, regardless of who’s on the bill, the best reason to ditch the Roxbury and come to SnowGlobe for NYE is the atmosphere. Your winter wonderland of mountains and sequoias is the perfect setting to bring in the new year, and sharing this moment with 30,000 of your closest friends isn’t bad either as you dance the chilly nights away to the best in modern music.
SnowGlobe offers a variety of ticket packages including three levels of VIP, as well as lodging and shuttle options. General admission tickets start at only $149.00 and will increase November 1st.
