Bearstock 2012 in Photos

If you’re from around the Middle Georgia area then you’re probably aware of Mercer University’s annual free music festival, rightfully named “Bearstock”. The free-to-the-public, all day event, began a few years back with headlining performance from Matt Pond and has since moved off the campus to a nearby park with featured headliners ranging from Cartel to 3Oh3! to Yellowcard. The event, put on by Mercer’s student activities group, Quadworks, has payed special attention to hosting and exposing local and regional bands to some of the largest audiences of their careers so far. Bearstock 2012 saw the likes of internationally known acts Yellow Card and Far East Movement, while tour-savvy groups like Ocean is Theory and The Front Bottoms we’re joined by Bearstock first-timer’s Young Benjamin and Argonauts. Check out some of our photos from the day. We’re already excited for next year!
