Acoustic Alley: Quiet Company

The Quiet Company plays a set in TheBlueIndian.com's Acoustic Al

The Rocketboys, being as swell of guys as they are, haven’t done much to make my life any easier or more enjoyable. They’re generally unkempt, late for shows, and drink all of my dad’s beer when they’re in town, but they did however introduce me to Quiet Company. For that, I’m thankful.

Originally from Texas, Quiet Company dramatically rose through the ranks of Austin drudgery (we hear it’s like a hot Brooklyn, but they use distortion) to become one of the the city’s finest musical ambassadors. Since 2005, they’ve honed their chops in clubs and bars around America. They’ve spent a good bit of that time sharing the stages of Austin City Limits, SXSW, CMJ, Deluna Fest and many more.

During the band’s most recent US tour with The Winter Sounds, they made a stop at The Hummingbird Stage & Taproom in Macon and we we’re delighted to be able to include them in our ever growing Acoustic Alley series. Enjoy.

And The Rocketboys are great guys. I hope they see this. – Sean Pritchard
